The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is cutting parental leave for employees by half.
The Gates Foundation will now offer six months paid leave to new parents. They're also eligible for a $20,000 child care stipend when they come back to work.
The full year of paid leave was reportedly among the most generous policies at the time it was introduced.
