Gary Cohn has resigned from the Trump administration as the White House chief economic adviser.
The former president of Goldman Sachs reportedly clashed with others in the administration over the newly announced tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.
When President Donald Trump announced the move last week at a meeting with steel and aluminum executives, Cohn argued against it, saying it would increase prices for steel and aluminum products.
