Garmin Ltd. is entering the powersports consumer market.
The market is projected to reach $26 billion in value by 2026, according to Global Market Insights Inc. projections.
Don Schmidt, senior product manager of automotive for Garmin, told the Kansas City Business Journal the company wanted to "leverage our extensive knowledge in GPS technology to hopefully help off-roaders travel unfamiliar regions with confidence."
