Olathe, Kansas-based GPS maker Garmin acquired a former mall site in its home city.
The company plans to use the former Great Mall of the Great Plains site for future growth plans.
The 1-million-square-foot Great Mall of the Great Plains opened in 1997 and closed in 2015. The building was demolished in 2016.
