Springfield-based development firm Gardner Capital Inc. hired a chief financial officer to replace an executive who worked nearly three years in the position.
Marty Moore, who started March 28, succeeds Adam Horton, who
took a job last month as chief operating officer for Springfield-based Four Corners Development LLC.
Moore comes to Gardner Capital from St. Louis-based automation equipment manufacturer Baldwin Technology Co. Inc., where he worked four years as CFO. He’ll work out of Gardner Capital’s Springfield and St. Louis offices, according to a news release.
Moore has 20 years of experience as an executive in the marketing, restaurant, health care and agriculture industries.
“His exceptional track record in corporate leadership and his reputation for people-centric leadership leaves little doubt that he will contribute vitally to the company’s success in the years ahead,” Gardner Capital principal Michael Gardner said in the release.
As CFO of Gardner Capital, Moore is in charge of finance, accounting and corporate services of all the company’s business units, including affordable housing development, solar energy work and real estate investments.
The company, which also has offices in Atlanta, Dallas and San Francisco, has raised over $2 billion in equity for housing and solar projects in 17 states, according to the release.
