Garden Walk Art Show set for June 19, 20

This year's 1999 Garden Walk Art Show is slated for June 19 and 20 in the Walnut Street Historic District, 1303 E. Walnut, shown above. The site is the home of Dr. Andy and Shelia Wright. It was formerly known as the Denton Smith House. A display of artists' work will be placed on the lawn and in the garden.

Studio 55 Fine Arts Guild, the sponsor of this event, is a nonprofit organization for artists 55 years old and older.

The purpose of the group is to promote and showcase the talents of artists in their later years and to support visual arts in the area.

The public is invited to the event. A $3 admission will be charged at the door to offset expenses.

Rain dates are the following weekend, June 26 and 27.[[In-content Ad]]
