Gap's same-store sales up for first time since March 2015

Gap posted a 2 percent increase in same-store sales in June, buoyed by the strength of its Old Navy brand.

It's the first increase since March 2015.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had expected a 3 percent drop.
