Gap Inc. announced yesterday it will keep its name after a planned spin-off with Old Navy.
The new Gap Inc.'s portfolio will inclue Gap, Banana Republic and other brands.
Old Navy also will operate under its current name when it becomes a standalone, publicly traded company.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
