Gap Inc. and Kohl's announced extensions of store closures as the coronavirus continues to impact the retail and overall economy.
Gap has furloughed most U.S. and Canadian store workers and reduced its corporate headcount. Furloughed workers amount to more than 80,000.
Kohl's also is furloughing some 85,000 workers.
