Gannett is being accused of using articles written by artificial intelligence on Reviewed, a product recommendation website.
Around 40 employees at Reviewed allege AI was used in recent articles published on the website. The employees said AI detection programs confirmed their accusations.
A Gannett spokesperson said the articles in question had been “created by third-party freelancers hired by a marketing agency partner, not AI."
