Game Changers: Ned Reynolds

Posted online
Ned Reynolds has been a staple on the KY3 sports desk for four decades. Reynolds is known to say he drove into the KY3 parking lot for the job in 1967 and never left. The gig is the only TV job he’s held, making his name synonymous with Ozarks sports. Beyond working as KY3’s sports director and evening sports anchor, he serves as co-host of morning radio show “Sports Reporters” and play-by-play announcer for Springfield Cardinals games. He also works the announcer booth for Missouri State University basketball games and tapes its coach’s shows. In 1996, Reynolds was selected as a torchbearer for the Olympic Torch Relay in Ste. Genevieve for the Atlanta Games. In 2001, he was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
