A Gallup poll released today found a slim majority support the conviction of former President Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial.
In the poll, 52% of respondents said they want their senators to vote for conviction. The poll respondents voted largely along party lines.
Trump's Senate trial is slated to begin this week after the House last month impeached him for alleged incitement of insurrection.
