Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway said she would push for a statewide mask mandate if she's elected as the state's governor.
Incumbent Gov. Mike Parson has eschewed calls for a statewide order on face coverings.
Galloway's announcement came as the state closed in on 76,000 positive coronavirus cases since March.
