Figurine maker Funko is planning to open a nearly 40,000-square-foot store in Hollywood later this year.
"So many people are looking for an experience when they shop — not just buying things," Funko CEO Brian Mariotti told CNN Business. "This is retail times pop culture."
Funko is slated to report its fourth-quarter earnings on Thursday, when officials will provide more details about the store.
