Fund to preserve, assist Black churches gets $20M donation

The African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, the organizer of the Preserving Black Churches Project, received a $20 million donation.

Lilly Endowment Inc., which supports religious, educational and charitable causes, contributed the funding.

The announcement was timed to coincide with the Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday.
