Around 35,000 gallons of fuel spilled early Wednesday near The Bahamas resort island of Great Exuma.
The fuel was destined for Bahamas Power and Light.
Crew members on board the vessel called the MT Arabian discovered a leak at 4 a.m. and began deploying absorbent pads and containment buoys.
