The Federal Trade Commission and a handful of states have filed suit against Live Nation and its Ticketmaster ticketing arm.
The lawsuit accuses Ticketmaster of allegedly ignoring ticket purchasing limits set by artists. This practice, according to the lawsuit, has led to ticket brokers buying tickets and selling them at a large markup.
Ticketmaster is also accused of allegedly failing to disclose the full price of tickets upfront.
