Frontier Airlines yesterday announced plans to add two nonstop service lines at Branson Airport to and from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Currently, the airline offers nonstop flights from Branson to Milwaukee and Denver.
“Frontier’s new nonstop service to Austin and Phoenix is very exciting,” said Jeff Bourk, executive director at the Branson Airport, in a news release. “Frontier now serves four nonstop cities, with a total of 10 between Frontier, AirTran and Branson AirExpress.”
Branson-Austin service will run Sept. 16-Dec. 14 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while Branson-Phoenix will run Sept. 17-Dec. 10 on Saturdays. Fare prices will begin at $89 each way for Branson-Austin and at $105 each way for Branson-Phoenix.
“Branson is a great family-friendly entertainment destination that our customers have really responded to,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier Airlines vice president of strategy and planning, in the release. “We’re delighted to have found the opportunity to add more routes into Branson and deliver our ... service.”[[In-content Ad]]
