Project description: Adjacent to the U.S. Baseball League park along U.S. Highway 65 in Ozark, crews began work in April for an indoor training center. Plans call for a full-size high school infield for teams to practice year-round; 14 retractable batting cages with portable mounds; analytics technology, such as trajectory and velocity management systems Rapsodo and HitTrax; a weight room and fitness area; and retail space for baseball products and apparel manufacturer Marucci Sports. U.S. Baseball renovated the long-vacant Price Cutter Park baseball stadium to launch in mid-2016. While hosting multiple league games, including the Drury University Panthers and the Show Me Collegiate League, officials have said park attendance exceeded 100,000 last year. The complex will host the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Baseball Championships starting in 2021.
