Project description: Construction crews demolished the former pro shop and they’re rebuilding the facility to include a golf and learning center, as well as four all-weather hitting bays with coverage for the driving range, said country club General Manager Jim Adkins. Three of the bays will be used by the Missouri State University golf teams, which signed a 15-year lease with Twin Oaks for around 1,400 square feet of space, according to Springfield Business Journal archives. Other features of the pro shop include a putting green and a team lounge, coaches’ offices and storage for the MSU teams.
