Project description: A new warehouse is nearly complete at the corner of East Turner Street and North Barnes Avenue in northwest Springfield. The Turner Barnes warehouse is a 100,000-square-foot pre-engineered building designed for either one or two tenants, according to Kenny Ross of Ross Construction Group. No tenants are signed yet, he said. “It’s appropriate for any medium to large warehouse use that has a need for a racking system and distribution,” Ross said. A fire sprinkler system is in place, and the building can be either heated only or heated and cooled, Ross said. Also featured are a continuous concrete weir wall perimeter for durability, 10 covered loading docks and two truck entrances.
