Project description: A two-story building is taking shape on the site of Tie & Timber Beer Co. The brewery and beer garden located in the Rountree neighborhood commercial hub is expanding its operation to more than triple indoor seating while adding a full kitchen, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. Owner Curtis Marshall told SBJ in a 2024 interview that the business is heavily reliant on its outdoor beer garden, a strategy that impacts capacity in the winter months. He added that with a full kitchen, Tie & Timber will be able to add a food menu focused on fresh ingredients and scratch-made recipes. The expansion is designed to integrate with the existing brewery and beer garden to create a cohesive campus for patrons to enjoy, project officials say.
