Project description: Rich Kramer Construction Project Manager Kelly Roberts said this project is several weeks behind schedule due to rain. Its roof is the next component to fall into place “before we can really start moving forward,” she said. Springfield, Ill.-based The Oldham Group leases a 10,000-square-foot office at 2114 E. Rockhurst St. Its parent company, Oldham Graphic Supply Inc., was founded in 1951 by Arch Oldham and is now run by Oldham’s son-in-law, Joe Lucca. Before deciding to build in Springfield, Lucca said he looked for a similar-size building but found none to his liking before settling on this site near Partnership Industrial Center. “There seemed to be a lot of places in the 10,000- to 15,000-square-foot range,” he said. The Oldham Group sells equipment, supplies, computers, networking and software to printers, newspapers and sign shops. The 11 employees in the Springfield office serve large and small clients such as Gospel Publishing House, Missouri State University and TCI Graphics, Lucca said.
