Project description: Branson-based HCW LLC is building 27 duplexes and a clubhouse for renters 55-years-old and up, according to CEO Rick Huffman. He said the project was made possible through federal tax credits managed by the Missouri Housing and Development Commission, which provides credits to developers who build affordable housing for seniors. Huffman said the rent on the 54 units would be $480 per month and 28 people are on the waiting list. Jennifer Baker, project manager with Larry Snyder & Co., said the gated complex will have 1,207 square feet and a single-car garage per unit. The duplexes are located off of Branson Hills Parkway, just south of the Branson Rec Plex.
