Project description: According to Mandy Gunzenhauser, administrator of The Arbors at Lakewood, the 14-room secure assisted-living facility will serve individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The Arbors is adjacent to Americare’s 29-room Lakewood residences, 4685 S. Robberson Ave. The Arbors, which has a staff trained to help people with memory issues, offers single- and double-occupancy rooms, Gunzenhauser said. According to www.americareusa.net, Americare operates five senior-living centers in Springfield, and offers assisted living services in 77 communities in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Mississippi and Tennessee.[[In-content Ad]]
