Project description: MSU is adding a vivarium to Temple Hall to house both aquatic and terrestrial animals of varying species, said Doug Sampson, university architect. The addition would provide room for the science department to perform research involving terrestrial animals such as rats, mice, reptiles and amphibians, as well as a new aquatics facility to house research involving fish and mussels. The expansion also features animal holding and support areas, as well as administrative office and shower facilities for animal care staff, Sampson said.
