Project description: This new credit union will replace TelComm's existing downtown branch at 651 N. Boonville, inside the Springfield News-Leader building. TelComm's main office will remain at 2155 E. Sunshine St. The new downtown branch will have four drive-through lanes, three walk-up tellers, handicap accessible teller space, a drive-up ATM and nighttime depository, as well as an on-site loan officer, said Ben Webb, project architect and TelComm board member. TelComm also recently opened a branch in Nixa and has a West Battlefield location. According to Don Ackerman, TelComm president, year-end assets were $51,490,221; loans were $40,844,572; deposits were $44,363,656; and membership totaled 12,053.
