Project description: Superior Rents co-owner Steve Wohnoutka said the construction equipment rental company is building its second store in Springfield. He said the South Campbell Avenue site was selected to reach contractors working in south Springfield and Christian County. He said roughly two-thirds of the store would comprise a repair shop and storage area for equipment such as post-hole diggers and stump grinders and one-third of the facility would be a showroom with power tools and equipment such as floor sanders and jackhammers on display. Wohnoutka said larger earth-moving equipment would be stored on a lot outside the store.
