Project description: Ron Safa’s self-funded project replaces a roughly 5,000-square-foot shopping center, which was home to Sunshine T-shirt and gift shop, damaged in the 2012 Leap Day tornado. He said the center is designed with three retail bays, with his Sunshine store as the anchor, occupying a third of the space. Safa said the building features a 12-by-16-foot digital video board on the east side.
