Project description: This basement and first-floor addition will be used mostly as classroom and office space, according to Ed Canning, general manager for MSI, general contractor for the project. There are about 5,000 square feet on each new floor, with restrooms and common areas as well, Canning said. It is a brick structure. "It matches up with the existing building," he said. Sunset Church of Christ elder Orin Robinson said there will be five classrooms, six offices and a library/conference room on the first floor, and food pantry and storage areas in the basement.
