Project description: This is the first store for Subway franchisee Veronica Straus, president of RVB Enterprises, who will run the operations of the 68-seat sub shop. When it opens in July, Straus said, it will be the first Subway in Springfield with a drive-through window. Straus expects to employ up to 15 people. She selected the location based on its proximity to James River Freeway, visibility on National Avenue and employment at the nearby offices and hospitals.
