Project description: The 12,000-square-foot parish center now nearing completion for St. Agnes Cathedral is designed to feature a 250-275-seat parish hall with full kitchen, meeting rooms, and offices and support spaces, according to a BRP Architects representative. The official adds that a single-story design and enclosed walkway will reflect the cathedral’s historic materials and traditional campus architecture while improving building connections and accessibility for the campus. According to the St. Agnes website, St. Agnes Church held its first mass in 1908. It was designated as a cathedral in 1956 with the establishment of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau.
