Project description: SRC Holdings Corp. is in planning mode with a new industrial warehouse near Strafford. The company is expecting work to be complete in the coming weeks for the SRC Logistics division after experiencing rain delays, said Executive Vice President Dick Moger. The SRC division will maintain its main office on East Pythian Street but will be moving out of additional leased space at the former Solo Cup complex, he said. The company recently presented a rezoning request to Springfield City Council to rezone its 20 acres at North Mulroy Road to industrial commercial, which Moger said would prepare the company for a possible facility expansion of up to 600,000 square feet. Council is scheduled to vote on the rezoning June 15. “We like to plan three, five, 10 years down the road,” Moger said. He declined to disclose the estimated project cost, but building permits filed with the city record a $1 million value.
