Project description: Killian Construction Co. project manager Stan Worth said the project consists of two phases. Phase I comprises parking lot and site improvements, and a new 10,000-square-feet field house, which is nearly complete. Phase II is a 10,000-square-foot wing that includes a new entryway with a bell tower on the west side of the property, Worth said. Suzanne Cronkhite, development director for Springfield Catholic Schools, said the addition comprises four classrooms, four science labs and administrative offices. She said the project, which is funded by private donations and the Catholic Dioceses, would include a complete remodel of its gymnasium and a new practice gym on the east side of the building.
