Project description: River of Life Lutheran Church is moving to 13 acres across from Highland Springs Country Club, where this Family Life Center is under construction. The multipurpose facility will serve as the church's sanctuary and holds classrooms, a basketball court and fitness center, child-care center, kitchen, bookstore, prayer chapel and fellowship hall, according to the Rev. James D. Buckman. It is funded through the Lutheran Church Extension Fund in St. Louis. The congregation of about 180 meets at 4560 S. Campbell Ave. in Shadowood Plaza.
