Project description: A project that is now hitting its stride on the west side of Bolivar includes a retail strip and storage units. Steven Rhodes, owner of Rhodes Property Development, was his own architect for the project, preparing design-build plans with engineering consultations to meet city requirements. He said the retail area is the future home of Rhodes Construction Co., with the remaining 3 acres dedicated to storage units. While most of the non-storage area will be used for the combined construction and storage office, including a retail area for sales of boxes and packaging materials, Rhodes said there may be space available for lease at an undisclosed price on the second floor.
