Project description: Kelly and Vicki Burk, owners of Burk Properties LLC and Burk Erectors Inc., are building this retail center to serve the town of Battlefield and southwest Springfield. Kelly Burk said he anticipates tenants such as restaurants, insurance agents and hair stylists occupying the space, though no leases have yet been signed. Burk Erectors, located directly east of the center, installs metal buildings for general contractors, including Morelock-Ross Builders and Williams Construction.
