Project description: With another 3,500-square-feet on the first floor and a basement addition of 1,650 square feet, Queen of Angels is expanding its convent, said Lauren Cook, marketing coordinator for project architect Butler, Rosenbury & Partners. Cook said the project includes relocating a 1,150-square-foot garage to the south side of the convent addition and enlarging the chapel. Sister Marguerite Tran said the design includes a living room and bedrooms for visiting nuns, who come twice a year from other convents in the region.
