Project description: The new building will house two clothing resale shops, said Steve Johnson, who owns both stores. Plato’s Closet will occupy 6,150 square feet with entrances on the north and west sides, and Clothes Mentor will take up the remaining 3,000 square feet with an entrance on the north side. There will be an open ceiling with exposed trusses, Johnson said, adding that Plato’s Closet will open as soon as the store gets its certificate of occupancy. He estimates the Clothes Mentor will begin buying clothes by mid-October and selling by Dec. 1.
