Project description: Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen will begin serving up its Southern cooking this summer to Branson Landing residents and visitors. The building is going up on the north end of the outdoor shopping center, across from the Belk department store. In addition to the eatery, a 3,000-square-foot retail space is planned featuring items for sale that reflect “Savannah’s rich cultural heritage,” said Nikki Kinney-Sivils, Branson Landing’s marketing director. Chef and TV personality Deen owns six self-branded restaurants, and the Branson Landing site is slated to be the first in Missouri.
A franchise store of a Branson West-based quilting business made its Queen City debut; Grateful Vase launched in Lebanon; and Branson entertainment venue The Social Birdy had its grand opening.
