Project description: Patrick Corbett, project manager with general contractor Restaurant Specialties Inc., said the construction in southeast Springfield is one of two projects in the city he is overseeing for Panda Restaurant Group. Restaurant Specialties also is remodeling the former Kripy Kreme on North Glenstone Avenue into a Panda Express. Both stores are expected to be complete by Jan. 1, he said. According to PandaRG.com, Panda Express operates 1,500 fast-casual Chinese restaurants across 42 states, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
