Project description: Ozark School District Executive Director of Technology and Communication Curtis Chesick said the project includes a storm shelter, six classrooms and a shared learning area. Four classrooms are designed with moveable walls for flexible learning spaces. Overall, the plans are part of $20 million in bond-issued projects to expand five school buildings and address the district’s growing student population. According to Springfield Business Journal archives, enrollment in the Ozark R-6 School District is up 17 percent over the past decade.
