Size: 14,700 square feet

Estimated cost: $5 million

Project description: This project, funded by a no-tax-increase $10 million bond approved by Ozark voters in 2006, has four components: bleachers and a new multipurpose field, a 9,500-square-foot multiuse building, 3,300 square feet for restrooms and a 1,900-square-foot building with concessions and press box. Ozark High School has 1,500 students and needs more room for physical education, sports and other extracurricular activities, according to Director of Communication Curtis Chesick. For example, Chesick said the school’s band has been practicing at the district’s junior high school because of space constraints.
