Project description: Outlaw Run is an 1880s-themed roller coaster billed as the only wooden coaster in the world to twist upside down. Silver Dollar City Director of Publicity Lisa Rau said the coaster represents the largest investment on a single attraction in the last decade for the Branson theme park. It is designed to reach a top speed of 68 miles per hour and rise more than 16 stories before dropping riders 162 feet. Rau said Outlaw Run spans 6 acres and is being built with 800,000 pounds of steel, 500,000 feet of lumber, 4.4 million pounds of concrete and 5.6 miles of welding.
