Project description: A new building means new studios, collaboration areas and showroom space for nPrint Graphix, whose co-owner and CEO John Fugitt said, “I’m a very detailed kind of guy, so I wanted it a certain way.” Fugitt said the building will have a tech-forward vibe with a design-forward look. A recent addition to the plans is an upstairs training facility where architects, interior designers and builders can earn continuing education credit as they learn about materials and their capabilities. Fugitt said his company is expanding its offerings, with equipment purchased and waiting to be installed in the new digs. “We’re bringing a whole different game to Springfield,” he said, citing the return to his company of vehicle wraps but also a focus on interior design and architecture by printing fabrics for furniture, carpets and window shades. nPrint can also print on metal and wood grain – even capturing textural elements – and can make custom textiles and wallpapers. Fugitt said he looks forward to showing it all off in a 30th anniversary open house upon completion, when he will throw open what he says is the biggest garage door available to offer a look inside. “This space is built to accelerate creativity, speed and quality for our clients,” he said, adding, “We’re excited to step into a new era of innovation for our team and our community.”
