Project description: The addition comprises a 900-seat sanctuary, a new entrance and lobby and an administration wing. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building system with a large glass entrance leading into the lobby area. The exterior walls are made with metal wall panels, masonry and exterior insulation finish systems. Once the addition is complete in September, Walton will begin renovating the existing church structure, project manager David Atkisson said. Adult classroom space will be converted into increased space for children and youth, and the existing sanctuary will be converted into youth worship space.
