Project description: Nixa Public Schools Executive Director of Finance Brenda Rantz said the district has signed a five-year lease with Jared Enterprises, the cost of which would be reimbursed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She said the lease is $72,900 a month, including furniture and fixtures, and Nixa has up to four five-year renewal options. School officials have said the facility just behind the district’s administrative offices will provide services for preschoolers, some with significant developmental delays. With six classrooms and on-site physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, administrative staff and assessment teams, classes began at the center Aug. 12.
