Description of project: The Nixa Community Center is a two-story facility with a structural steel and metal building frame that has decorative masonry and an exterior insulating finishing system. The center includes an elevated running track, gym, aerobics and fitness areas, day care, classrooms, meeting rooms and pool changing areas. The swimming pool and its decks are cast-in-place structural concrete. The pool includes a diving area, six racing lanes, a shallow pool area with tower slides and play features, pool deck water features, umbrellas and shade structures.
