Project description: The Springfield office of Wichita, Kansas-based water filtration dealer Moore Water & Air has outgrown its leased space at 3107 E. Chestnut Expressway and is erecting a 13,000-square-foot preengineered metal building to serve as its new operations center. The facility will double as the company’s local hub – store manager Justin Tims says the Springfield office is the top dealership under the multistate Moore’s umbrella – and will have a telemarketing department with 25-30 employees. The company provides EcoWater filtration systems, and other services include air purification, drinking water systems, home filtration, water softening and well water treatment. Construction Manager Sam Butler said the company is investing in the community by building from the ground up, and the structure will feature 10 garage door bays for vehicles to access parts and equipment needed for the installation and service of their products.
