Project description: A new community event center will replace the city’s original Park Casino building constructed by M.E. Gillioz Inc. in 1926, according to city officials. Located in Monett South City Park, Rich Kramer Construction project manager Mark Steele said the facility comprises a 5,100-square-foot main hall that divides into two spaces, with fireplaces in each. The building, which is available for events at hourly rates, also offers a small serving kitchen and a terrace, Steele said.
